Thanks for your response and keep the word going: Wild Onion Press is on a mission. Watch for our two new books, HERE COMES JULIE JACK! by Ann LeZotte and THE GIFT OF GRACE by Grace McClelland. There is nothing in the “book world” like them–featuring Asbergers, cochlear implants, limb difference. No reader can come away from these books without being “changed.”

Good Afternoon Shelley, I am currently President of the Rotary Club of
Bethel, Maine. My District Governor is Ann Lee Hussey who is also a PolioSurvivor (Google Ann Lee Hussey). Today I received imformation
from Rebekah S. Bliss that your book “The Polio Hole” was used in the
language arts/reading portion of the lesson plans. I need to review your book before introducing it to our Superintendent of Schools. Our local
books store was unable to locate your book, but then their search was
inadequate. If you would please direct me to where this book can be purchased, it would much appreciated. Sorry for por por poor typing, lost a finger in a Rotary service project. Joe Arizzi

Good Morning Rebekah, I am currently presiding over the Rotary Club of Bethel, Maine. Rotary District 7780. Our District Governor is Ann Lee Hussey and a Polio survivor (you can Google Ann Lee Hussey to learn more about this incredible person). Of course, Polio Plus is BIG with her. She is pushing for Purple Pinkie Day and I believe it is great. However, as an educator, I believe people must understand the disease and its consequences. So, as the brother of Lillian Bell, Rotary Club of Orange Park, Florida, I appreciate any and all help in getting the message into our schools. Many Thanks, Joe Arizzi
